Measurement and Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure traffic and usage patterns. GA4 uses first-party cookies and does not use third-party cookies for cross-site tracking. Our privacy configuration includes:

  • IP anonymisation enabled; your full IP address is never stored by Google

Advertising Technologies

DTGuns serves advertisements through third-party ad networks that may use cookies, pixel tags, and device identifiers to display interest-based advertising based on your browsing behaviour across the internet.

Ad partners may include Google AdSense, Google Ad Manager, and others. You can manage personalised ad preferences at Google Ads Settings or opt out industry-wide at aboutads.info (US) or youronlinechoices.com (EU).

Note for US State Privacy Laws: Sharing data with advertising partners for cross-context behavioural advertising may constitute a "sale" or "share" under the CCPA/CPRA and similar state laws. You may opt out by contacting info@dtguns.com.

Sign-In Services

You may register or log in using providers such as Google, Facebook, Apple, or GitHub. We receive only the profile data you authorise (typically name, email, unique identifier). We do not receive your password. You may revoke access through the provider's security settings at any time. We are not responsible for the data practices of identity providers.

Email Notices and Marketing

With your explicit consent, we may send newsletters, product updates, or promotional emails. Every commercial email includes a working one-click unsubscribe link in compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act and, where applicable, CASL. You may also unsubscribe by emailing info@dtguns.com. Requests are processed within 10 business days. We may retain your address on a suppression list to honour your opt-out preference.

AI-Assisted Features

DTGuns incorporates AI-powered features. Important disclosures:

  • Conversations or inputs may be processed by our AI service provider to generate responses
  • Interactions may be logged and used to improve AI model quality under the provider's data processing terms
  • We strongly advise against sharing sensitive personal data (passwords, financial details, health data) with AI tools
  • AI outputs may not always be accurate and should not be relied upon as professional or legal advice
  • Where EU law applies, we do not use AI for solely automated decision-making with significant legal effects without human review, in compliance with the EU AI Act (enforcement phased through 2027)

Content Provided by Other Services

Our pages may include embedded content from YouTube, Twitter/X, Spotify, Google Maps, or social media platforms. Embedded content behaves as if you visited the originating website directly and may collect data, set cookies, and track your interaction independently. We encourage you to review each provider's privacy policy before interacting with embedded content.

Content You Upload

Files, images, or documents you upload are stored securely with access controls, used solely for the stated purpose, and may be scanned for malware or policy violations by automated tools. Uploaded content is deleted within 90 days of account closure unless otherwise legally required.

Location Information

We collect location information in two forms:

  • Coarse location: Derived from your IP address to provide region-appropriate content and for aggregate analytics. No device permission is required.
  • Precise location: Collected only with your explicit device or browser permission. You may revoke access at any time through your device settings. Denying location access does not restrict core website functionality.

Precise location data is not shared with third-party advertisers without your explicit consent.

Service Providers and Integrations

We work with trusted third-party service providers who may access your personal data only to the extent necessary to perform services on our behalf. All processors are bound by Data Processing Agreements (DPAs). Categories include:

Children's Privacy

DTGuns is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions where a higher threshold applies, such as certain EU member states under GDPR Art. 8).

If we discover we have inadvertently collected data from a child under the applicable age threshold without verified parental consent, we will delete it immediately. Parents or guardians who believe their child has submitted data on DTGuns should contact us at info@dtguns.com. We will investigate and take corrective action within 72 hours of notification.

External Links

DTGuns may contain links to third-party websites. Once you leave our site, this Privacy Policy no longer applies. We have no control over and accept no responsibility for external sites' content, privacy policies, or practices. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.

Browser Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" signals to websites. There is currently no universally accepted standard for how websites must respond to DNT signals. At this time, DTGuns does not alter its data collection practices in response to DNT browser signals. We will review this position as industry standards evolve.

Updates to This Policy

We may revise this policy as DTGuns, our vendors, or legal requirements change. For a material revision, we will change the “Last updated” date, provide a prominent website notice, and, where feasible, notify subscribers by email. We encourage you to revisit this page periodically.
